Article Submission Software – Should We Submit Articles With Software?

March 10th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

Article submission software – people always ask if they are really useful in article marketing. To paraphrase that, what online marketers really want to know is whether there truly are merits in using them to submit articles. The truth is there are two schools of thinking about using article submission software. As usual, there are those who do not believe it works while another group can vouch to its effectiveness. Why don’t we have a quick look at the workings of the article submission software before we decide if we should submit articles with them?

Article submission software in recent years have been emerging as a tool to replace manual submission. When I first started online marketing, I wrote articles and submit manually to these article directories like GoArticles, HotLib and a few other popular article directories. It often takes me more than a few hours to submit to more than a dozen article directories. There was the log in, followed by sieving through the article submission form, copying and pasting my article title, article body, article summary, relevant keywords and author resource boxes. Every article directory has a different interface, and very often I have to customize and twitch a little bit here and there. Trust me and those who have experienced all these, it is tough job and sweat. Okay, so here I have an article ready to be published after one day’s hard work including the writing. This is manual article submission done all without article submission software.

That was a typical scenario most early day article marketers and authors have to face just a couple of years back. Today, the landscape has changed with the emergence of article submission software. The great thing about the functions of article submission software is it makes the log in and article formatting for each individual article directory so fast and so easy. Some article submission software are semi-automatic which requires you to click from one article directory to another to post. Others which are more advanced requires just the click of a button and off it goes to different article directories to post. In terms of speed and efficiency, such article submission software definitely makes the submission a breeze. As a result, we have more time to write quality articles.

If we can stick to writing an article and posting it to 100 article directories a day manually without article submissions software, we can really gain a great deal of exposure for our websites be it a business or hobby site. With so many submissions, we are putting our content before hundreds to thousands of eyeballs everyday. But the problem is we only have 24 hours and taking away time for sleep, meals and breaks, there are only a few hours to do that. We are limited in our time. With article submission software, it allows people to write more and post more each day. Instead of one article to 100 directories manually, we are talking about potentially, several articles to few 100s of article directories.

There is another twist to using article submission software. Search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN are constantly ranking websites or for accuracy purpose, web pages according to link popularity. Article directories are high Page Rank sites and links from these directories count as powerful one-way links. So how do we get these article directories to link to our websites? The answer is to submit articles! Articles are contextual content relevant to our websites and links from these articles to our websites are valuable because of the anchor text keywords we are targeting to rank high in the search engines. Article submission software can submit to many article directories and in just a few days, the number of high PR links to your site would increase.

There are alternatives to using article submission software such as using article submission services like Article Marketer, iSnare and others to submit articles. But they charge you either monthly or for per article submitted. Unless you have a huge advertising budget or enough money to pour into these services, buying an article submission software would be a wiser choice since the payment is one-time. Typically, quality article submission software would cost around $99 onwards.

From the look of it, it does make sense to submit articles with article submission software. Many article marketers including myself have reaped in thousands of dollars from sales by using such software. Read a review of several popular article submission software marketers have in their marketing arsenal.

Tips For Finding the Right Online Community Software

March 10th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

There is a lot of different online community software on the market right now. Some of these community software programs are cheap and some aren’t. Just like with anything that you buy for your business it makes sense to spend more money on a better product than to buy a cheap product that doesn’t have the functionality that you need. So how do you know which community building software is worth the money and which isn’t? These tips can help you find out if the community software that you’re considering buying is worth the money or not.

Always look at the screenshots – When you’re looking at the website advertising some business community software more often than not the company will put screenshots of the product in action on the website. It can be tempting to zip right by those photos but take the time to look at the screen shots. If you look closely you’ll be able to see the layout of the program and other design features that will tell you if the design of the program is intuitive and easy to use or if it’s difficult to navigate.

Ask for a free trial. If the company doesn’t offer a free trial of the community building software that they sell you should ask for one. Some companies don’t automatically offer free trials but if you talk to their customer service department they will usually let you try the online community software free for a week, two weeks, or even a month. The only way to really know if a particular community software is going to be easy to use and has the features that you want is to try it out. Most software companies know that and have no problem letting potential customers try the software for free.

Look at other sites that use that brand of community software. The software company should be able to give you the names of other companies that use their software. Look at the websites of those companies to see how that particular online community software operates from a user standpoint and how it functions. You can learn a lot about the software just by seeing how it works in a real setting.

There isn’t one particular brand of community building software that is going to be right for every business but it does pay in the long run to research carefully when choosing the software to create a custom online community. Since building custom social networks and online communities is very popular right now the Web is flooded with social community software. Some of it works very well, and some of it doesn’t. So be sure that you are choosing community software that fits your skill level as well as your budget.

Food For Thought Affirmations!

March 9th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

There are certain aspects in our life that we can use positive affirmations to totally redirect our negative associations. Eating, however, is a necessity of life in order for us to exist, therefore the use of positive eating affirmations are used for redirecting the negative eating habits that we have formed over many years for many different reasons. The initial step is to identify what unhealthy eating practices we have adopted into our behavior in order for us to set the proper positive eating affirmations.

We can use positive eating affirmations to curb our appetite when we are emotionally eating. Emotional eating tends to be the biggest challenge when it comes to creating a new healthy lifestyle.

We all need help when it comes to making healthy food choices. If not, we somehow approve of negative affirmations, no matter how ridiculous they are. For example, we may say to ourselves (either consciously or sub-consciously): “This double-decker cheeseburger and large fries, followed by a half gallon of peanut butter fudge ice cream will make me feel better.” Really? You think so? Because that tends to make people sleepy, tired, and crash from a sugar high. But that’s an example of a negative affirmation that we often catch ourselves doing, especially when we feel upset or alone.

Choosing Positive Eating Affirmations

Instead, we could repeat the following daily positive affirmation: “My health is important, and even when I am unhappy, I still choose to be healthy.”

It is important to write down your positive eating affirmations and place them in prominent places in order for you to remember and call upon them when the temptations strike you. Place them in the snack food areas and on the refrigerator.

Disallow Temptation and Strengthen your Resolve with Positive Affirmations

Choose to make positive eating affirmations and I assure you that it will help with those challenging moments. What you have to promise me is that you’ll make these affirmations readily accessible at any time. In fact, affirmations should become a part of you, ingrained in your mind!

When you go to the supermarket bring your positive eating affirmations with you on 3×5 cards, or write it down on your shopping list. Let it serve as a constant reminder to choose foods that are inline with your goals, not just because it’s on sale or because you’re craving sugary or salty snacks.

You can even use positive eating affirmations when you occasionally mess up. “I am getting fit and healthier because of my eating choices.” or “Though I have made some poor choices in eating healthy foods, I am committed to getting back on track, starting now.”

You will not only find that you feel better emotionally, but your body will be stronger for the vitamins and minerals that you are incorporating into your new eating habits. They say it takes six weeks to form a habit, and three months before it is second nature. So, you need to bear this in mind as you start reciting your positive eating affirmations.

Free Positive Eating Affirmation Examples

I’ve included a list of starter positive eating affirmations to help you on your path to a healthy life. Your reward will be when you instinctively reach for the healthy foods when you are shopping or when you resist junk foods when you’re bored or stressed. Subconsciously your mind is making the healthy eating choices because of the mental redesign that you have implemented.

Some additional positive affirmations to help you achieve your goal for healthy eating balance are as follows:

  • I choose healthy comfort foods because I love me.
  • I pass up the offers of unhealthy snacks and desserts because I have a strong will.
  • I willfully choose what I put into my mouth.
  • I buy the foods that will make my body stronger.
  • I cherish the added vigor and vibrancy that healthy eating gives me.
  • I eat when I am hungry, not when I am bored.

Nutrition Software Can Help You Achieve Your Goals

March 8th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

The recent popularity of “Low Carb” diets has generated a lot of interest in manipulating the ratio of carbohydrates, protein, and fat in the diet to make weight control easier.

Counting the calories you eat is useful, but tracking where those calories come from can give you another handle on your diet.

Whether you are trying to lose weight, maintain a healthy weight, or gain weight, the relative amounts of protein, carbohydrates and fat can make a difference.   Protein, carbohydrates, and fat are referred to as macronutrients.  A nutrition software program can help calculate the macronutrient ratios in your diet.

A recent study at the University Of Washington School of Medicine found that a high protein diet reduced hunger levels more than a lower protein diet and helped achieve weight loss in a group of 19 healthy adults.  In this study the carbohydrate intake was held the same at 50% of total calories in each diet, and protein was either 15% or 30% of total calories.  The remainder of the total calories in each diet was supplied by fat.

So the macronutrient ratios of the diets were as follows:

  • High protein diet: 30% of calories from protein, 50% from Carbohydrates, and 20% from fat.

  • Lower protein diet: 15% of calories from protein, 50% from Carbohydrates, and 35% from fat.

Subjects were allowed to eat as much as they wanted of the high protein diet.  They chose to eat about 400 less calories than they did on a 15% protein diet, and they lost an average of 11 pounds over 12 weeks.

Some people might like to try a similar diet.  There is considerable debate among experts about what is the best ratio of protein, carbohydrates, and fat.  The nice thing is that you can try out diets of different macronutrient ratios for yourself.  You can see if one diet or another helps you achieve your weight goals more easily.  You can see if you feel better on one diet or the other.

Selecting the foods and doing the calorie calculations by hand can take quite a while.  Nutrition software can make things easier.  With a nutrition software program you can select foods that you normally eat and adjust the portion sizes of foods in different food groups to arrive at meals with the desired macronutrient ratios.

Most nutrition software programs come with a database of thousands of foods.  You can select the foods you eat with a mouse click and then adjust portion size.  You can enter all the foods you would eat in a meal.  The software will calculate the total calories as well as the amounts of protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and minerals.

Food labels now report the Percent Daily Values of key nutrients contained in one serving.  Daily Values are guidelines suggested by the FDA for most nutrients.  Most Daily Values are based on the earlier “Recommended Daily Allowances” or RDA’s.  Some nutrition software programs will also calculate the Percent Daily Values of nutrients in the meals you eat.

A good nutrition software program will allow you to record the meals you eat and then report on the nutritional value of those meals over any time period you choose.

I wanted a nutrition software program that was easy to use and would report a great deal of information on the food I ate. I wanted to be able to record the meals I eat and get a report on the nutritional value of those meals, including calories, Percent Daily Values, and vitamin and mineral content over any time period I wanted. So I developed a nutrition software program myself. To read more about the program I developed as well as other nutrition information visit Zolosoft.com online.

What Foods To Eat After A Tough Football Workout

March 7th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

Football players would no sooner skip pre-workout carbs than dash out the door barefoot. But when the weight lifting is done, those same football athletes might not think much at all about what they eat, as long as they get something. food delivers the nutrients your body needs to repair itself, making smart eating crucial to a strong body and a speedy recovery.

A combination of proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals helps your body heal microtears from exercise and overused tendons and sprained ligaments. All parts of the body need food after a tough football workout!

Over time, if cells don’t get the nutrients they need, muscles and connective tissues can weaken, leaving them more susceptible to injury. So along with stretching, and icing if you need it, these healing foods will help you get back in the gym or on the field as quickly as possible.

Below is a quick list of some of the best foods to eat.

Red Bell Pepper

Just one red bell pepper provides 380 percent of the recommended Daily Value of vitamin C, a nutrient crucial for repairing connective tissues and cartilage. By contributing to the formation of collagen, an important protein used to build scar tissue, blood vessels, and even new bone cells, vitamin C facilitates the healing process.

Runners-up: papaya, cantaloupe, oranges

Salmon

Salmon’s nutritional benefits have been much touted for good reason. Fresh or canned, salmon delivers two powerful healing nutrients: protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Protein does more than rebuild muscle after a grueling run; it also repairs bones, ligaments, and tendons.

Many nutritionalists recommend all football players eat protein at every meal; injured athletes should aim for four to five servings a day, from low-fat sources like egg whites and lean turkey. Salmon, with two grams of essential fatty acids per four-ounce serving, is doubly valuable. Eating fish high in omega-3s or taking supplements is like throwing a big bucket of ice water on inflammation.

Inflammation occurs when waste matter generated by the body’s repair efforts builds up around the injury, inhibiting healing. Omega-3s help disperse that buildup, making them useful in addressing everything from sore muscles to stress fractures.

Runners-up: mackerel, flaxseeds, walnuts

Carrots

Eat carrots for a potent dose of vitamin A: a half-cup serving provides 340 percent of your Daily Value. This nutrient helps make white blood cells for fighting infection. You might not think infection is likely with tendinitis, but your body takes no chances and activates the immune system, which ups vitamin A demand. Vitamin A also helps repair postworkout microtears, so it’s a valuable ally every day.

Runners-up: sweet potatoes, dried apricots, spinach

Fortified Cereals

Zinc is an important healing agent, but foods highest in zinc, like red meats, often contain saturated fat, which aggravates inflammation. So when the body is taxed-from exertion or injury runners should reach for fortified whole-grain breakfast cereals, which can deliver as much as 100 percent of the Daily Value for zinc. By itself, zinc doesn’t repair damaged tissue, but it assists the proteins and fats that do. Be careful not to get to much! Too much of this potent mineral lowers HDL cholesterol (the good kind) and actually suppresses your immune system.

Runners-up: shellfish, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds

Almonds

Just one ounce of almonds (roughly 20) contains more than 40 percent of your Daily Value of vitamin E, an antioxidant that supports the immune system by neutralizing free radicals. Almonds, like hazelnuts and sunflower seeds, also supply beneficial mono- and polyunsaturated fats, which are key building blocks for healthy cells.

Runners-up: nut butters, avocados, vegetable oils

Speed Reading Software – What is EyeQ?

March 6th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

Speed reading software has been around since computers became popular. One of the older and more famous programs is “EyeQ”. It’s big, expensive, it takes a long time to become effective, but it works. The question is, how does it compare with the “Speed Reading Manual”? For someone who really wants to learn how to speed read, is EyeQ worth the extra time and money?

The EyeQ speed reading program comes in two versions: the Personal, and the Deluxe. It seems the only difference is that the Deluxe can accommodate up to 10 different users. What this means is that each person will be able to track their progress a little more easily, by looking at their personal charts and graphs that the program periodically creates for them.

“Wow the deluxe edition sure seems great!” you might say. But when you find out that it costs $100 more just to enable some extra charts, you may want to retract your statement.

“$100 more than what?” you might ask. Well, $100 more than $250 (actually $249.95, but whatever). So, for the Standard it costs you a quarter-grand, and for the Deluxe full-topping pizza it costs you $349.95. Needless to say, I decided against buying either version, and stuck with the demo. I don’t have that kind of budget right now. I have seen the full program working, but I have not done enough of a thorough examination (and I don’t have the full program with me), so I will use the demo as a basis for the rest of this review. The demo of the program has most of the features enabled, so it should be accurate as a review of the full program as well.

The EyeQ solution to speed reading works in two steps:

The first step is training the eye’s movement to facilitate quickly moving around a page later. As these exercises are running, objects appear around the screen, and you must follow them with your eyes. As your eye-movement skills advance, you’ll be able to move your eyes faster and faster around the screen. There is also a peripheral vision exercise, where you are told to stare at the centre of the screen as different shapes expand and contract around the centre. These eye exercises are effective in accelerating several necessary areas in reading – eye movement, symbol recognition, and peripheral vision enhancement.

The second step is practicing reading “blocks” of words. The program has several passages for you to read. To help you progress to reading entire pages at a time, the program shows you only a certain number of words at a time from the page. Depending on the speed you select, the program will only show those words for a certain amount of time before moving on to the next “block” of words. As you progress, the number of words shown at a time increases, and so does your reading speed.

That all sounds very professional and effective – and indeed it is. As far as I know, the program works exceedingly well.

However, the program isn’t actually necessary to learn how to speed read.

You don’t need graphs, or training, or blocks of words flashing on a screen. Those exercises will train you to speed read without telling you how to speed read.

In other words, if you were told in detail what the program was trying to do, then you could train yourself without even touching the program.

If you were to compare the “EyeQ” ($250-$350) to the “Speed Reading Manual” ($12), the real differences are in two areas. The first area is (of course) price. EyeQ costs up to $338 more than the Speed Reading Manual. The second area is time saved. The whole point of speed reading is to save you time… all of the other benefits really stem from saving time. EyeQ asks you to train nearly every day, and the training will usually take an hour, but that depends on how much you do. The Speed Reading Manual needs to be read a few times before you understand everything. But once you understand the material, you can start speed reading right away. And you’ll be reading only things that you want to read. You won’t have to spend hours and hours reading “The Wizard of Oz”, and the rest of those EyeQ training texts.

EyeQ is a waste of time and money when compared to the Speed Reading Manual.

Click this link and learn how to speed read quickly, easily, and for just $12.

This author does most of his reading at about 600 words per minute. As he needs to read a lot every day, this fast reading saves him hours and hours a day. Speed reading has become not just a hobby, but a necessity to keep up his productivity level. Go to http://www.speedreadingisreal.com to learn more about how you can start speed reading while maintaining a high level of comprehension.

What Types of Food Should You Serve in Your Daycare?

March 5th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

Parents want to make sure that their kids are eating healthy food, so they make sure that they will be preparing healthy foods. How about when they are not around, they need to bring their kids to the daycare, are they sure that their kids are still eating healthy. Definitely, parents would make a review and check out if their kids are eating the right foods when they are in daycare.

As an owner of a daycare, you need to see to it that you will be serving nutritious foods. Actually, you do not only have impact on the nutritional intake of the kids under your care but also with their eating behaviors and health habits. You need to be there to help the kids learn the right mealtime behavior and also to enjoy different varieties of nutritious foods.

You need to review the foods that you will serve for the kids under your facility.

Actually, there are recommendations that several organization have agreed upon. For children who are in a daycare for seven hours, you need to give them one third of their nutritional needs. If they have to stay in a daycare for eight hours or more, they should receive one half to two thirds of their nutritional needs. For children who are under your premises for full time, they should have one meal and two snacks.

When serving breakfast, it should consist of milk, fruit, bread or cereal, vegetable or 100% juice. In serving lunch or supper you need to serve milk, meat, fruit or vegetable, bread. When serving snacks it should consist of at least two of these four components namely milk, meat or alternate, fruit or vegetable, bread or alternate.

You have to focus on the use of fresh fruits, vegetable and whole grain when serving meals and snacks, you can also include small amount of meat or meat alternative. Make sure that the foods you’re giving to the kids are fresh and unprocessed.

You have to be able to supply the recommended amount of iron, energy, Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin A, Zinc, Magnesium and Folic Acid. You can ask for guidance with a dietitian in order to determine and ensure that you are providing the right foods for the kids.

Do not serve foods that contain nitrates, foods with caffeine, drink with high calorie, salty foods and candy. Make sure that the foods you serve are appropriate the ages of the kids under your facility.

Credit Crunch Affecting Whole Food Market

March 5th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

The credit crunch is starting to affect all parts of the health and fitness sector. We reported earlier in the year that Sports Direct, the UK fitness retail store, has seen a large reduction in profits. We have also seen evidence that people are canceling their gym memberships to exercise at home – or worse, give up exercise altogether. And now there are reports that the whole foods (organic food) market is in decline. This year London’s largest organic supermarket has lost over £10 million, as shoppers are opting for cheaper products. Whole Foods Market is a US owned company. Analysts fear that it cannot survive the credit crunch, as people turn their backs on food which is really perceived as a luxury by most, rather than a healthier option.

Analysts have said that the financial results are both disappointing and very worrying, not just for this store, but for the entire health food sector. It has been argued that whole food is really nothing more than a clever marketing trick. The food itself may not actually be any better than standard mass produced food. It is just stylishly packaged and marketed to appeal to wealthy individuals that have larger disposable incomes to spend on their weekly groceries than the average person. There is an even element of snobbery regarding the purchasing of such food, as those that shop in whole food stores feel that they are experiencing a piece of luxury that most cannot afford. Well, now they have obviously decided that they too cannot afford it!

There is no doubt that the food sold by specialist whole food companies is very healthy, and good for you, but it is questionable if it is really healthier that the same food types purchased in superstores like Tesco, Asda and Morrisons. There is a real risk that the whole organic movement will suffer over forthcoming years as the global economic downturn continues.

And which other companies will follow suit? Sports retail, organic foods – will the expensive commercial gyms and exclusive golf clubs start to suffer? With the job losses in the financial sector, it is hard to believe that some health clubs and golf clubs will not be affected. Many clubs based in the business districts of cities rely on corporate memberships, subsidised by banks and other financial institutions, to make their profits. As the credit crunch causes more City jobs to be lost, gyms will see a decline in revenues.

Employee Attendance Record Software – Learn to Use It

March 4th, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

If you plan on working your way up the company food chain to a management position then learning the new rules of the game are a must. In years past, there was one basic requirement for occupying a management position, particularly in a lucrative business. That basic requirement was that one had to be a complete prick.

Those Were the Days My Friend

The basic tools of the employee management game back then were fear and intimidation mixed in with a liberal dose of complete insensitivity. Sure, you could make more money as manager but forget spending it with your friends, because you didn’t have any.

Out With the Old and in With the New

However; the management game is today undergoing drastic changes that has left intelligent mild mannered people just like yourself pushing old school managing bullies aside and assuming their company positions.

New Attendance Tracking Software

One of the new tools that is allowing these new changes to take place is new forms of employee management and tracking software, so you absolutely have to learn to use it. Attendance record software also should be one of the first to add to your study list.

Detecting Subtle Attendance Pattern Nuances

With this software program you will be able to easily track any number of employees attendance records either as a group or individually. Also, any subtle nuances in attendance patterns that would otherwise be too subtle to detect can be instantly recognized using this software program.

Power Through Information and Knowledge

No hassling with time sheets and calculators either, because with a click of a mouse any and all data and information entered into this software program is instantly converted into line graphs and charts that any bone head can read. In today’s working environment information and information management is power and that is precisely what this software will allow to do and do well.

Things to Keep in Mind When Choosing Chauffeur Software

March 3rd, 2010 by paramoz in Uncategorized · No Comments

Think about the current credit crunch. Consider the rise of unemployment in some of the world wealthiest countries (the latter not entirely unrelated to the former). House prices, fuel prices and food prices are all going through the roof. For those with a persuasion towards prudence, this would be a time to look at the various ways to save money, perhaps by spending a little bit of money, even if the amount is but a fraction of what one would consider ‘worthwhile’. This is of course also applicable to computer software and more specifically those in the chauffeur business.

Yes, there is a market for chauffeur software and it has shown to be a profitable and extremely efficient one, assisting those within the business to manage their resources and time to the best and most economic way possible. But that is of course just marketing speak, seeing as there are many different flavours and versions of chauffeur software available. So let’s take a closer look at what to expect from reasonable to good chauffeur software.

Take the basics you’d expect from the software into account first. These include the scheduling of drivers and vehicles, quote generation, online routes, training and support. Next up, think about those things that you’d like to have but are not sure that they exist. A key thing to remember here is the fact that there is already such a multitude of chauffeur software in existence that, due to the resulting competition, additional extras are often what makes one better than the other, aside from functionality. These include aspects that aid in the management of the business such as contact management, Fuel Duty Rebate (FDR), Working Time Directive (WTD) compliance, human resources functionality and the list goes on.

Another thing to take into account, aside from the extras and functionality, regarding chauffeur software is of course the support offered on the package. Is support offered only between 8AM and 5PM or do you have the option of 24 hour support? Most people who make use of chauffeur software operate 24/7, so finding a package with an associated support schedule within the same time frames is important. Additionally, how much do you expect to pay for support?

As you may well know, computers can start acting up at the worst of times so it’s best to look for a software package that provides for your business needs.

The above is a functional list of which questions to ask when considering software. Get yourself a pen and a piece of paper to get a clear picture of what your requirements are. And when you’re done, simply log on to the Internet and type ‘chauffeur software‘ into your favourite search engine.
